THE BRIEF
StudioSpace was founded in 2022 to disrupt the way marketing professionals connect their briefs to the most brilliant global agencies.
They’re an online marketplace connecting businesses with high–quality, independent creative, digital and marketing services – carefully matching clients with the right partner for a specific project. To date, the global technology platform has vetted and curated a network of over 100 top–tier specialist studios with more than 50 capabilities across 12 countries – meaning some of the world’s largest organisations can access this expertise and through a seamless digital experience.
While all the building blocks were there, Studiospace needed a unifying core story to wrap around these proof points. We were tasked with creating a single-minded proposition and strategic story, that would lay the foundations for a sophisticated and seamless visual identity.
THE SOLUTION
StudioSpace’s new strategic direction was developed with the modern marketer in mind. Built around the central idea of ‘Your Agency Marketplace On-Demand’, the strategy positioned StudioSpace and its roster of agencies as the ideal addition to panel agencies and in-house teams.
We set out to create a brand identity system that felt sophisticated and seamless. That was connected to StudioSpace’s role as a technology enterprise, while also reflecting the creative spirit of the agencies on the platform. Where every element was considered and deliberate, but also entirely unique to StudioSpace.
At its core was a distinct brandmark, which calls to mind the ‘SS’ of StudioSpace and conveys the match-making and perfect-fit elements of the organisation and their partners. Like a Venn diagram, the overlap in the middle was the mark of ‘magic’ that StudioSpace made possible – and we explored various ways to pull apart the brandmark and house imagery, illustrations and creative expression. The elements of the experience was further expressed through colour, 3D imagery and illustration and a range of typography treatments.
THE RESULT
Since launching in June 2023, the StudioSpace platform has achieved a three-fold increase in website traffic, driven in part by its impactful brand design. By December 2024, the platform grew from 200 to over 400 agencies, attracting and retaining numerous big-brand clients. The brand work has been the foundation for a successful sales and marketing strategy, fuelling this growth.
