From its crucial role in the workings as Australia’s first international parcel sorting depot, to a new ambition for connectivity and collaboration, The Post House continues its legacy as a great connector and meeting spot. A part of the broader Tech Central story, The Post House is set to be the tallest tower in the precinct, and will combine boutique hotel accommodation with a future-focused commercial offering, superior wellness, heritage dining and co-working spaces.
A thoughtfully designed mixed-use vertical village, The Post House seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary new forms. The interplay of technology and future-forward thinking with heritage and culture provided the ideal basis to develop a unique, and highly desirable, place to work, drink, eat, stay and relax.
The brand identity was inspired by Bates Smart’s architectural response, featuring a bespoke deep purple colour inspired by the terracotta tile on the exterior of the building. The heritage sandstone colour complements the broader accent colours in the palette, including sage, terracotta, lilac and burnt orange. The logo was developed as a 3D logo form to add life, dimension and tangibility to the future tower offering, utilising AR technology to enable tenants to further explore the space.
