Houston Group Leadership Offsite 2026

In February, Houston's Executive Leadership Team came together for our annual Offsite, to kick off the year in true Firehorse spirit.

We reflected on the year that was: our wins, our lessons, and the areas we're sharpening as we move forward. But the real centrepiece of the day was aligning on our Vision for 2026 and beyond.

In a world defined by constant change, true disruption, innovation, tighter budgets and faster turnarounds, we went back to first principles; who we are and why we do what we do.

Houston has always been built around a simple but powerful belief: hire great humans. Curious, open-minded, and nimble people who bring genuine care to everything they do. Our values reflect this and define how we hire, retain talent, and show up for our clients every day. We believe it's a genuine differentiator in this industry. It's what keeps clients loyal, and what draws new partners to want to understand our world.

We also ran a workshop exercise we regularly use with clients, a visual thinking exercise designed to distil complex ideas onto a single page. One concept from the day stopped us in our tracks: bamboo in the wind.

Strong roots. Built for resilience. Yet designed to flex, adjust and move with the forces that push and pull around it.

It felt like the perfect metaphor for where Houston stands today.

As we close out our final quarter and set our sights on FY27, we do so with clarity, focus and excitement. Our team of smart, experienced, empathetic and innovative humans are ready, and we're proud to partner with our clients to help navigate whatever path lies ahead, windy or otherwise.

Here's to what's next.
